CNA Training

We provide a quality education and training program that prepares students for passing the exam for state certification. It takes a tremendous amount of training and studying to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The Indiana State Department of Health practice standards for nursing assistants is expanding and requires students to absorb a broad wealth of information while learning to care for patients.

We have a two-week intensive classroom curriculum that allows ample time for students to gain the knowledge about the scope of practice and expected functions of a CNA in Lafayette, Indiana, followed by a clinical practicum that provides students with a multitude of opportunities for hands-on experience in caring for patients and interacting with an interdisciplinary care team and professionalism. ​

Registration and Admissions

  • Requirements

    To become accepted and enrolled into the Certified Nurse Assistant Training Program, students must:

    • Complete a Certified Nurse Assistant Program Application.

    • Be 18 years of age or older.

    • Have no felonies in the last 5 years.

    • Be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

    • Be able to pass a skills assessment.

    • Pay full tuition at registration, prior to the start of the course. (Payment plans available.)

  • Tuition and Classes

    Classes usually start the first Monday of every month. Tuition or payment agreement is due prior to start of each course. The cost of tuition is $1100.00 which includes:

    • Four week course (M/W/F from 9 - 3:30 or 7 - 3) which includes offsite clinical at a nursing facility.

    • State Exams.

    • Course textbooks.

    • TB test, Physical, and Drug Screen.

    • Uniform.

    • Gait Belt.

    • ID Badge.

    • Liability Insurance.

    • Criminal Background Check.
